will team up to host a candid education discussion on Oct. 4,
leveraging the inclusiveness of Twitter and the expertise of the

whose victory could assist Racers for Christ; NASCAR superstar Kyle
Busch, who hopes his stylish road-race Camry will secure a donation to
the Kyle Busch Foundation; and NHRA Nitro Funny Car phenom Alexis
DeJoria, who is transforming a Tundra into an all-out desert racer on
behalf of Safety Harbor Kids.

Toyota and the University of Michigan Transportation Research Institute Launch Teen Driver Distraction Study
Washington, DC, September 13, 2012 – At a Safety Research Forum here yesterday, Toyota announced that it has teamed up with the University of Michigan Transportation Research Institute (UMTRI) to conduct a major new study of 5,600 teens and adults. Results of the Teen Driver Distraction Study commissioned by the Toyota Collaborative Safety Research Center (CSRC) in July 2012 will be released incrementally as data is analyzed.

Toyota’s $1,000 Rebate Program for College Graduates Now Includes the New Prius c
Toyota Financial Services (TFS), in partnership with Toyota Motor Sales, is excited to announce that the new Prius c is the first hybrid vehicle option available to recent college graduates who want to take advantage of the company’s College Grad Rebate Program. Toyota's TABC Plant Celebrates 40 Years of Manufacturing in California
Toyota Auto Body California, Inc., (TABC), Toyota’s first manufacturing investment in the U.S., today celebrated its 40th anniversary with team members, government and community officials, suppliers and executives.
TABC, originally known as Atlas Fabricators, contracted with Toyota
in 1972 to produce truck beds for vehicles destined for the U.S. Two
years later, Toyota purchased the operations and renamed it TABC,
becoming the first manufacturing investment in the U.S. for Toyota.
Today, TABC employs 470 and its investment tops $270 million. It
produces stamped and welded parts, steering columns and catalytic
converters for a number of Toyota’s vehicle assembly plants in North
America and Japan and tests, inspects and repackages end-of-life hybrid
vehicle batteries.
