Washington, DC (August 6, 2014) – Thirty five nonprofit organizations
nationwide will share in more than $150,000 in capacity building grants
to help support public lands. The Public Lands Program of the National
Environmental Education Foundation (NEEF) provided the grants thanks to a
partnership with Toyota.
“It is often difficult to raise funds for strategic planning,
communications and technology upgrades, but these activities are vital
to the growth and engagement of Friends Groups, ” said Diane Wood,
president of the National Environmental Education Foundation.
